"A browser based, non-game that allows the viewer to explore a drought ravaged landscape that contains fossils of beloved characters we have lost to the four year drought in the west. The viewer navigates a digital recreation of the Sierra Nevada Mountains on a specialized plastic model, of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, that serves as a drift boat. The viewer paddles the drift boat to the various fossils, revealing the characters that formed them. Examples are; The Little Mermaid, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sponge Square Pants, and so on. Hopefully the piece will work as an allegory for the interdependent nature of all things to our planet’s ecosystem."
