Strategies is part of a larger project that I am working on based on the behavior of natural and mechanical species. The work is exploring the concept of a digital garden, where things exist, react and behave over time. Each of the creatures have their own motivations and behaviors, responding to conditions, randomness and other creatures. My goal is to create a garden that lives and grows in parallel to our physical world, unfolding over time and with seasonal variation. Initial behaviors are simple and direct, but over time, chance will create increasingly complex ecosystems.
