A discussion with Huckleberry Hax, director of "STÖMOL," selected for Supernova 2020 "Competition" program.
Huckleberry Hax is a pioneering author focused on the virtual world Second Life, where he has been a resident since 2007. In 2020 he has released his first feature film STÖMOL, shot entirely in Second Life. It's an achievement that seems to defy all notions of what is possible within that context, delivering a beautifully shot, complex narrative that elevates the medium to that of traditional filmmaking, carrying great appeal for cineastes of all tastes.
STÖMOL is a standout at this year's Supernova Digital Animation Festival, and one of two feature films accepted for the first time into the festival's focal competition.
The Competition category will be released in full next month on Saturday September 19th through supernova.video
Full program will launch September 15th on supernova.video
