Spinning, Spinning, Spinning...
The animation will be using stuff from our daily life as the subject, and by using the rotating parts to be the common factor, for example, the wheels of the car, the water tab, or even giving rotation to the parts that won’t turn. Usually our brain would emerge something familiar that have been imprinted in memories when it triggered by something interesting. And we want to use “rotation” as the main feature to try to give a grotesque but funny perspective to look at things.
Lau Chun Wai (Wyatt) and Pak Man To (Jesse) were born and currently living in Hong Kong. They are both students in final year pursuing Bachelor of Art and Science in New Media from School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. Wyatt is an artist who mainly works in visuals and 3D animation, trying to make something which is between reality and imagination. While Jesse is an experimentalist trying to explore different things including video installation, audiovisual and ceramic art.
