Zoe Zheng
'Dance of the Angel' is a visualization of an excerpt of the piano piece, 'Milonga del Angel', composed by an Argentine pianist, Astor Piazzolla. The word 'Milonga' in the title means a type of Argentine tango, which shows off the legs of the female dancer. This idea inspired the choreography in the animation.
Artist Bio:
Zoe Zheng has just finished her first year at the University of Southern California where she is majoring in Fine Arts. Her interest in animation stemmed from her art education in China, where she was born. With this passion, she started making animations when she was attending high school in Oxford, England. After graduation, to further pursue her animation dream, she decided to study in the United States where the entertainment industry is even more developed.
